Mr. Murphy is responsible for due diligence activities at Trefethen Advisors.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Murphy was Senior Director of Finance and Accounting at Circle K Corporation (“Circle K”), the largest independent C-Store operator in North America. At Circle K, he was responsible for the accounting, cash management, risk management, and tax activities in support of its Regional Business Units.
Prior to Circle K, Mr. Murphy was a senior audit manager with Arthur Anderson & Co (“Anderson”), one of the Big Five accounting firms. At Anderson, he was responsible for audit, review and due diligence engagements for public and private companies, including Circle K.
Mr. Murphy received a Masters of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Arizona State University.
