Mr. Markie assists in handling client engagements, as well as structuring and executing transactions for Trefethen Advisors.
Previously, he was a Senior Vice President with Sunrise Bank of San Diego ("Sunrise"). At Sunrise, Mr. Markie identified, engaged and processed new loan opportunities, and also worked on troubled assets for the bank. Prior to joining Sunrise, he was a Senior Vice President at American Commercial Capital ("ACC"), a commercial finance and investment banking company focused on providing capital and advisory services to companies in the multi-unit retail industry. While at ACC, Mr. Markie originated, structured and executed loans to multi-unit retailers.
Prior to joining ACC, he worked in various capacities for several financial service companies, including Dain-Bosworth and Porta Management Group, and several real estate companies, such as Lee & Associates and Giguiere, Markie & Sizemore. Mr. Markie began his career as a Tour Player and Class A Club Professional with PGA of America.
Mr. Markie graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
